But telling the truth is expensive. When you expose the wrong people, you don't get a thank-you. You get a lawsuit.

Powerful companies don't need to win in court. They only need to make the fight cost more than you can afford. Legal fees, GAG orders, years of stress, until the person telling the story gives up and goes quiet.

02The story that started it: Reckless Ben

Reckless Ben is an independent YouTuber and investigative creator. He is being sued by Bricks & Minifigs over his reporting.

Whatever the outcome, the pattern is familiar: one creator with a camera, against a company with lawyers. That's David vs. Goliath, and it's the reason this project exists.

Ben's supporters launched a Legal Defense Fund on GiveSendGo to help him keep fighting. And that's where we made our first move.

03First brick laid: $50

On September 28, 2026, the $BRICK community sent its first contribution: $50 to the Legal Defense Fund for Reckless Ben. Gift ID 7181934, because transparency is the whole point.

Is $50 going to win a court case? No, and we're not pretending it is. But it's proof of concept: a memecoin that started days ago has already put real money behind a real journalist. Not a promise, not a roadmap slide. A receipt.

This was brick #1. The goal is to make the next ones a lot bigger.

04The movement: Bricklayers

$BRICK isn't a coin you hold. It's a role you take. Every holder is a Bricklayer.

Our mission is to support independent investigative journalists in the spirit of creators like Reckless Ben and Tyler Oliveira: people with steel in their spine who go where others won't, ask the uncomfortable questions and publish anyway.

06How it works: help others, get paid yourself

$BRICK is built on Base and launched on BaseStonk. The tax is 1% on buys and 2% on sells. Half of it goes to the BaseStonk platform; the other half is the $BRICK share. Here's exactly where that share goes:

The remaining ~15% goes to the $BSTONK basket (~10%) and to buyback & burn + auto-liquidity (5%).
